March 25	CWPAA Board Meeting, MDC, 9:30 am
March 25 & 26	Pumps & Motors - Operator Basics - Atlantic States Rural Water & Wastewater - Town Hall, Windsor Locks - 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM (2 day class). Eight Contact hours. For more information, phone 1-860-889-6373.
March 27	CAC meeting, Mattabassett WPCF, 9:00 am
April 2	CWPAA meeting, CT Fire Academy, Windsor Locks, CT. OSHA Seminar for Supervisors Safety Training for Employees What training is needed to keep in compliance RSVP by March 30 to Jan Marineau, 860-693-7867; you must RSVP to attend. Lunch will be included. DIRECTIONS: CT Fire Academy is located off Exit 40 (Route 20, Bradley Connector) of Interstate 91. Follow Rt. 20 west 1.7 miles to the exit for Rt. 75. Turn right off the exit onto Rt. 75 North and follow 2.9 miles. Turn left onto North Perimeter Road (see sign for the CT Fire Academy and the NE Air Museum). Continue 1.4 miles to the Academy, which is on your right.

Atlantic States Rural Water & Wastewater Assoc. is sponsoring the Sacremento Course Volume One "Operation of Wastewater Treatment Plants," at the Torrington WPCF. Dates are as follows: March 17, 24, 31; April 7, 14, 28; May 5, 12, 19, 1998. Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Cost is $125/person. 9.0 CEU's will be given for completion of this course. 	A Fond Farewell The CWPAA would like to say good-bye to Joe Watkins - Plainville WPCF. Joe is retiring on March 20, 1998. He had devoted many years to the wastewater field. We wish him the best of luck. He will be missed.

The money can be used for training which is associated to the wastewater field. Examples: technical sessions, seminars, college, etc. Money available is up to $500. 	ANNOUNCEMENT! THE 15TH ANNUAL CWPAA PRODUCT SHOW AT THE WTBY. SHERATON. WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 9,1998. The doors will open at 9:00 am and run till 3:00 pm. Coffee will be available in the morning. There is a FREE buffet lunch for all attendees (2 separate sittings - 11:30 am to 12:30 pm), keg of beer (ballroom) will be available. In addition there will be 3 $50 cash drawings. The cash drawings will be given out in the morning and afternoon. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!
