BLACK
& VEATCH TO IMPROVE WASTEWATER AND SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES

& Veatch will be responsible for providing consultancy advice on
design review and construction supervision for this long-term urban
environmental services improvement program which will include the
construction of four wastewater treatment plants ranging in capacity from
25,000 to 150,000 m3/day (7 to 40 million gallons per day), a
municipal solid waste transfer station, 42 waste collection stations, and
just over 60 public lavatories. The project also includes a creek
rehabilitation project, procurement of waste hauling and sanitation trucks
and related repair equipment. The project is scheduled for completion in
